Camping and Glamping
Camping el Merino is synonymous with space and privacy. There are no completely levelled pitches or camping meadows. This means that there are height differences and you may have to search on the pitch for the best place for your caravan, tent or motorhome. But the large, naturally situated pitches of 250-300 m2 are well worth it. Some plots are gravelled for larger motorhomes (up to 8 metres). There are also smaller pitches (100-150 m2) for smaller tents or vans, which are also spacious and natural.The new, luxurious sanitary facilities consist of colourful bathrooms (each with its own design) with a toilet, shower and washbasin.
We also rent out 3 comfortably furnished Bell tents with private sanitary facilities, close to the tent. They are situated on wooden platforms with beautiful views and a terrace in front.If you are looking for something to do and contact with other people, you can go to the colourful reception building. The campsite has an outdoor kitchen with a cooker and a gas grill for guests to use. Inside the reception you will also find a small shop and a self-service bar. Next to the reception is the lovely 10×5 metre swimming pool and plenty of seating and lounging areas. Please note that the sanitary building, the reception and the swimming pool are located in a higher part of the campsite, accessible by steps.
ATMOSPHERE
Camping el Merino is especially suitable for campers who want to enjoy nature and tranquillity in an idyllic location. Therefore, there is no place for groups and there are no fixed seasonal pitches. We ask our guests to be considerate of each other, not to play loud music or have the television on loudly. After 23.00 hours we ask you to be quiet and to be absolutely silent from 00.00 hours until 8.00 hours the following morning.
Natural integration
Camping el Merino is located in the countryside, surrounded by olive groves and pine forest. On the campsite there are oaks, cork oaks, holm oaks, chestnut, pine and olive trees. So far, about 40 species of birds have been observed at the campsite. Golden oriole, hoopoe and many smaller birds breed on the campsite and red, grey and black kites and vultures are regularly seen. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible in this green environment. For this reason, the campsite is largely powered by solar energy and we ask our guests to be economical with both energy and water. In addition, of course, we recycle as much as possible and waste is collected separately. Due to the danger of forest fires, it is strictly forbidden to light open fires on the campsite. It is always possible to use the grill and cookers in the outdoor kitchen located next to the reception area.

Pets
Dogs are welcome, as long as they do not cause any nuisance, are always kept on a leash, even on the pitch, and their droppings are cleaned up by the owner. Dogs are not allowed in the glamping tents, inside the reception, near the sanitary building and the swimming pool.
